How We Work

Site Survey & Quotation

We assess the barn structure, access and proposed work for a no-obligation written quotation. A quotation-stage assessment does not confirm asbestos by sight and is not a formal survey; sampling or survey scope is arranged separately where needed.

Access & Preparation

Access requirements and site constraints are identified before work. Any access equipment, segregation and agricultural-site arrangements are included in the job-specific plan and quotation.

Controlled Removal

For work within our direct scope, handling and dust-control measures follow the job-specific risk assessment and plan. Licensable materials or tasks are outside our direct service and require an HSE-licensed contractor.

Waste Packaging & Disposal

Asbestos waste follows the applicable hazardous-waste route. Packaging, carrier, receiving-site arrangements and legally required paperwork are confirmed for the individual job.

Replacement Roofing (Optional)

If replacement roofing is requested, the available product, installer, programme and any warranty terms are confirmed separately in the written quotation rather than assumed as part of every removal job.

Common Questions

Is asbestos cement common in farm buildings?

Asbestos cement was used on some agricultural buildings, but the age or appearance of a barn does not confirm asbestos. If planned work will disturb suspect sheets or cladding, establish the material and work category first.

Do I need planning permission to remove an asbestos barn roof?

Planning and building-control requirements depend on the building, location and proposed replacement work. Check the relevant local authority requirements where the project changes the roof, affects a listed building or sits within another protected context.

Can you remove asbestos from a barn while it is still in use?

Whether part of an agricultural building can remain in use depends on the material, work category, access, segregation and site activities. Occupancy and livestock arrangements are agreed for the specific job before work starts.

How much does asbestos barn removal cost?

Costs depend on the roof area, access conditions, and disposal requirements. Agricultural barn removals are priced on application. Contact us for a free site assessment and quotation.

What area do you cover for agricultural asbestos removal?

Confirmed coverage includes Greater London, Surrey, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Essex, Hampshire and Berkshire. Availability for the individual agricultural site is confirmed when you enquire.
