How We Work
Initial Survey & Assessment
We first review the asbestos information already available and the planned work. Where a formal survey or sampling is needed, the scope and provider are confirmed separately; a quotation-stage assessment is not a formal asbestos survey.
Abatement Plan
For direct work within our confirmed scope, the job-specific risk assessment and work plan define the method, controls, sequence, access and waste arrangements. Licensable work follows the HSE-licensed-contractor route.
Controlled Removal
We directly undertake only non-licensed and NNLW work that falls within our confirmed scope. The controls depend on the material, condition and task. Licensable work is outside our direct service and must be carried out by an HSE-licensed contractor.
Clearance & Certification
Air testing or formal clearance is used only where the work category and job-specific plan require it. Where an independent analyst is needed, the provider and scope are confirmed for the job; a clearance certificate is not a universal handover document after every asbestos task.
Final Documentation
Customers receive the legally required paperwork applicable to the direct work and asbestos-waste movement. Survey, laboratory, analyst or licensed-contractor records remain separate where those providers are involved.
Common Questions
What is the difference between asbestos removal and abatement?
Asbestos removal refers to the physical act of removing an ACM. Asbestos abatement is the broader process of managing all asbestos risks in a property: including surveying, planning, removal, air testing, and documentation. Abatement is typically used for larger or more complex projects involving multiple ACM types.
Do I need a full abatement programme?
The appropriate route depends on the confirmed material, condition, planned work and existing asbestos information. Major refurbishment or demolition may require formal survey information and, where licensable materials or tasks are involved, an HSE-licensed contractor.
How long does a full asbestos abatement programme take?
The programme depends on the material, quantity, access, work category, survey/analyst dependencies and the agreed scope. Timing is confirmed in the written quotation for the individual job rather than promised as a standard duration.
What documentation will I receive after abatement?
Customers receive the legally required paperwork applicable to the direct work and waste movement. Any survey report, laboratory result, analyst certificate or licensed-contractor record is supplied by the relevant provider where that separate route applies.
Do you provide asbestos abatement for commercial properties?
We provide owner-led non-licensed and NNLW asbestos services for commercial premises within our confirmed geographic coverage. Licensable work requires an HSE-licensed contractor, and site-specific procurement or specialist-provider requirements are confirmed for the individual project.
